the most romantic race in the world,
Targa Florio in Sicily,
the last of the old style races on public roads,
founded in 1906,
a 45 miles long mountain circuit with over 800 corners,
lined by half a million hysterical Italians.
The 45th edition in 1970 was once again dominated by Porsche,
.
above is the Siffert/Redman 908 Spider
tearing through one of the villages along the track!
